Bought this primarily for my daughter who has long very thick hair. Despite all that hair, she’s only 4 and doing hair often resulted in lots of yelling no matter how gentle I was I saw adds for these brushes and although pricey, I decided to buy. We are both so glad I did, I can’t remember the last time she complained that I was hurting her and doing hair is so quick now. If you have a child with long hair I would definitely recommend

I bought this for my daughter's unruly hair which gets knotty very quickly. The last 8 years have been a nightmare of screaming and crying. At first I was brushing through her hair too quickly and it was still snagging. I quickly realised, if I brushed slowly and gently, it just glides through the knots effortlessly.
